Alabama Arts Alliance Art Awards

As an important element of the work we do, the Alabama Arts Alliance proudly recognizes individuals, schools, and organizations that demonstrate outstanding support for the arts and arts education.

During the 2022 Alabama Arts Summit, 14 outstanding individuals and organizations were honored for their commitment to the arts in Alabama.

The 2022 Alabama Arts Summit

Investigating the critical relationship of the Arts to the creativity and innovation necessary for Alabama’s Future Success. It focused on identifying challenges in the areas of Economy, Quality of Life and Education in our state and our communities; and highlighted some of Alabama's outstanding projects that feature Creative
and Innovative solutions that are “Fueled by the Arts.” The Summit posed the questions:
“What can you do in your role? and What support do you need to succeed?”

The Summit, now in its 17th year, brought together educators, art advocates, creative professionals, legislators, and others from all endeavors, who share a desire to improve education, the economy, and quality of life for all Alabamians through the arts. By gathering, collaborating, and exploring together, we provided the setting for inspiration and motivation. Energized participants left the Summit with a fresh perspective, inspired ideas, new goals to meet, and partnerships that will ensure that the arts thrive in Alabama.
