SAIL 2025 Recap

Our summer arts integrated professional development workshop was held at Troy University Montgomery Campus on June 16-18 and was a great hit!

This 3-day arts integrated workshop provided participants with a variety of subject matters, skills and viewpoints.  We had a lot of hands-on and movement activities, but also deeper discussions about difficult conversations and burnout.

It was in part funded by the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the Alabama State Department of Education

"I enjoyed each session at SAIL. Each class was very informative and I was able to get great ideas that I will be able to implement into my classroom this year."

Smaller workshops throughout the year

Throughout the year, the Arts Alliance holds a number of individual school workshops for classroom teachers and arts specialists in order to strengthen their knowledge and skills. Our work in educational settings is advocacy in action.
