About the Alabama Arts Summit
Our annual Arts Summit is celebrating 22 years in 2027!
The Summit gathers people from all endeavors and professions, who share a desire to improve education, the economy, and quality of life for all Alabamians through the arts.
The 2027 Alabama Arts Summit will be full of Artful Moments designed to spark creativity and cultivate community. Participants are enriched by Discipline Specific professional learning tracks, cross-sector conversations, and practical tools for their classrooms, communities, and studios.
Registration is OPEN!
The EARLY BIRD registration fee is $185
It includes conference meals and conference materials.
After Feb. 15, the registration fee is $250

CALL FOR PRESENTERS
We are currently accepting proposals for guest speakers and workshop presenters.
We want the 2027 Alabama Arts Summit to be full of Artful Moments designed to spark creativity and cultivate community. We are looking for sessions on a wide range of topics in the arts and arts education, including but not limited to: discipline specific professional development in artistic techniques (music, visual art, dance, theatre, and media arts), student performance, community engagement and development, integration with other academic subjects and professional disciplines, workforce development, grant writing, and advocacy.
Session style can be hands-on, lecture, panel, or round-table discussion, but should include interactive elements of some sort. You may submit more than one session proposal
The deadline to submit a proposal is November 2, 2026.

Rate: $135.00 (plus tax and fees) per night (single or double occupancy). Breakfast and parking is included.
The cutoff date for the group discount is Sunday, March 12, 2026. The discounted group rate cannot be guaranteed if you book after the cutoff date or if the room block is filled prior to this date. They may still have rooms available though.
